…free wedding photography contest…

…the submissions are rolling in like a mad dog. when i first decided to do this, i thought it would be something fun to do. but, some of the stories i am reading are just breaking my heart. it’s not fun anymore. it’s going to be incredibly difficult to choose just one person. i’m humbled, and heart-broken that i can’t do them all. however, i will suck it up and do my best to determine the most deserving. please keep the stories coming in.

if you are reading this for the first time, i am offering free wedding photography for one lucky couple in 2009. you can read more about it here: http://www.frazierphotography.com/blog/weddings/free-wedding-photography-contest/. this has also been published by msnbc. yeah, it’s kind of a big deal.

cheers,

…interesting factiods, but only to me, probably, about your potential future wedding date…

…fwiw, i thought this was a little entertaining. (yes, this is how wedding photographers entertain themselves :)

christmas was on my mind, since it just passed, and the thought of 20/20 came to mind, for whatever reason, which lead to 12/20, which lead to 12/20 2012. i thought, how cool. then my mind started racing through all the dates where that was possible. so, here they are, in case you were wondering…

9/20 2009 is a sunday. and i am currently available. YAY

9/9/09 is a wednesday. booooo!

10/20 2010 is a wednesday. boooo!

10/10/10 is a sunday. yay!

11/20 2011 is a sunday. yay!

11/11/11 is a friday. yay!

12/20 2012 is a thursday. i guess that’s a maybe. i get a thursday wedding once in a while.

12/12/12 wednesday. boooo!

so, that’s it in a nut shell. my mind is now completely spent and i need a nap.

i hope this was somewhat helpful for your future wedding planning.

cheers.

…the first dance…they did this awesome country-style dance…

…and, the details. the flowers were provided by the one and only square root

…this wedding was shot by becker, brian khang, and myself. the shots on my blog are all 100% mine. check out becker and brian’s blog to see their shots from the day.

Free Wedding Contest…

Apparently, I’m making news with my contest: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/28421605/ I hope this thing really catches fire because I’d just love to see the most deserving couple get a chance at having beautiful wedding photos from their wedding. I’m getting requests from all over the U.S.A which is awesome and heart-wrenching. So far, everyone seems like they deserve it! Seriously! But I can only pick one. :(

I did have a question which was related to a wedding on the east coast. As long as you’re willing to pay for my travel expenses, I’ll go anywhere. So, keep that in mind. This isn’t just for SoCal weddings.

Sneeky Peeky

…this image is from the wedding i shot with Becker and Brian Khang at the Ritz Carton, Laguna Niguel yesterday; actually i was tagging along with them for fun. the flowers were simply off the hook and it’s no wonder with Square Root behind the magic of it all. becker is a freaking amazing photographer and it was awesome watching him work and do his thing. it’s amazing the little things you can learn watching someone else work. even after shooting over 100 weddings, you’d think i know everything, but i felt like i barely scratched the surface of what’s possible watching these two work together. i’ll talk more about this later when i blog more of the images. i just have one image to show today as a sneeky-peeky; one of my favorites…
